Patient Restraints: Locking Twice-As-Tough Cuffs (Buckle Closure)

Posey^® Twice-As-Tough^® Cuffs (Locking) are designed to limit the movement of wrists and/or ankles in patients assessed to be at risk of disrupting life-saving treatment, pulling lines/tubes, exacerbating skin conditions, compromising wound site integrity, or self-injury. They are considered Hard Restraints and are primarily used in behavioral health (VSD) treatments.^†

These heavy-duty restraint cuffs are gentle on skin and can be used for the patient’s wrists and/or ankles. Neoprene fabric, nylon straps, and reinforced stitching provide extra strength* and durability.

Key lock on the strap that anchors the restraint system to a bed/stretcher offers an extra measure of security (one-piece anchor strap for simple application and adjustment)
