To gain a clearer understanding of the impact the C-Armor Drape can have in the operating room, TIDI Products conducted a case study over a period of several months at three different ambulatory surgery centers located in the upper Midwest. During the study, the ASCs performed more than 100 spine, orthopaedic, urology, and pain management (neuromodulation) surgeries using the C-Armor Drape.
Several weeks into the study, we asked 24 clinicians at two participating facilities, a physician-owned ASC in Michigan and a corporate-owned ASC in Wisconsin, to rate their perceptions of the C-Armor Drape regarding an array of potential performance benefits. Among the items in the survey were evaluative statements pertaining to time savings, improvements in staff efficiency, and confidence provided by the product.
About 90% of the clinicians expressing an opinion either agreed or strongly agreed with each of the statements below.

Later in the case study, 26 clinicians at all three participating facilities (the two ambulatory surgery centers in Michigan and Wisconsin as well as a corporate-owned ASC in Ohio) were asked to complete another user survey. Once again, respondents rated their perceptions of the C-Armor Drape in relation to a range of potential performance benefits, such as time savings, improvements in staff efficiency, and confidence provided by the product.
