SkinSleeves Protectors

Posey SkinSleeves protectors are versatile, non-compression knitted skin coverings that help provide a protective covering against tears and abrasions for thin, fragile skin tissue. They can also help prevent patient disruption of medical treatments by camouflaging IV or wound sites.

  • Knitted from soft cotton/nylon/spandex four-way stretch yarn
  • Color-coded by size for easy identification
  • Sold by the pair (6000B comes in a bulk pack of 25 pairs.)

Recommended Use: Patients with fragile skin prone to tears and abrasions; patients who disrupt IV and/or wound sites.

Premium Heel Guards

Posey Heel Guards help protect against skin breakdown in the lower leg and/or foot. The high resilience foam heel offloading device also floats the heel and helps reduce the risk of foot drop.

  • Heel and side ventilation holes promote air circulation dissipate heat buildup
  • Open heel cutout allows the heel to be suspended to help reduce pressure injuries
  • Adjustable foam elevation block helps optimize individual positioning and heel lift
  • Adjustable straps allow easy adjustment for degree of foot drop control
  • Outer lining helps minimize the risk of friction and shear
  • Meets CA #117, Section E Flame Retardancy Standards
  • One size fits all. Can be used on either foot

Recommended Use: Patients at risk for foot injury, pressure injuries, or foot drop.

Deluxe Podus Boot

The Posey Deluxe Podus Boot is designed as a multi-purpose foot boot to help prevent heel and toe ulcers, and also safeguards against foot drop.

  • Large heel cavity helps keep heel isolated and free from pressure
  • Polymer splint can accommodate up to 45-degrees of plantar flexion
  • Machine washable liners made from moisture absorbing Ortho-Wick™ to help keep skin dry
  • Detachable toe post securely held in place by two mounting points
  • The anti-rotation bar locks in place and easily stores when not in use

Knitted Heel Elbow Protectors

The Posey Knitted Heel/Elbow Protectors are designed for patients requiring comfort and/or protection against abrasions from contact surfaces.

  • Flexible sock-like covering helps provide comfort and helps protect against limb friction and shear forces
  • Sewn-in, contoured, soft-open cell foam pad placed at the bony prominences of the heel and elbow for protection
  • Non-compression, expandable knit weave helps promote air circulation
  • Machine washable

Fitting guidelines: Knitted Heel/Elbow Protectors are intended to fit as a comfort product. Actual fit will depend on individual anthropometric measurements and patient comfort level. These protectors will stretch up to 30%.

Recommended Use: Patients requiring comfort or at risk for skin irritation.

PRO-heeLx® Heel Protector

The Posey PRO-heeLx® Heel Protector offloads patient heels for the prevention or treatment of heel pressure injuries. Designed to float the heels above the bed surface and helps protect against heel pressure injuries.

  • Durable straps help with foot drop functionality
  • Two-inch heel lift helps isolate the heel
  • Large opening helps ensure adequate ventilation and cooling of the heel and eases patient monitoring
  • Outer fabric is made of breathable nylon, allowing moisture and heat to migrate away from the foot
