TIDI Products, LLC (“TIDI”) Donates Personal Protection Gowns to Support Relief Efforts in Haiti

NEENAH, Wis. – TIDI Products LLC, a leading manufacturer of single-use infection prevention products for the medical and dental industry announced it will donate over $300,000 of personal protection gowns to aid in relief efforts for earthquake ravaged Haiti.

With a limited amount of basic healthcare available in Haiti and an overwhelming amount of survivors left homeless, there’s a continual threat of infectious disease.  As rescue and recovery efforts continue, healthcare workers will need to assure personal protection as well as protection for patients.

“There is an overwhelming need for medical supplies and care to this devastated country,” said Kevin McNamara, President and CEO for TIDI. “In the aftermath of such a disaster, protecting healthcare workers and the injured from infectious disease is critical.  Our hope is to help decrease this added threat in an already critical situation.”
